How to use

  1. Drill your pilot hole to suit the cleco size (see the size guide).

  3. Release the pliers: the spring holds the panels together.
  4. To remove, squeeze the cleco with the pliers and pull it out.

Safety

Spring-loaded tool: parts can release suddenly, so wear eye protection. Keep fingers clear of the jaws. Small parts: not a toy, keep away from children. Temporary fastener only. Do not use if damaged, bent or corroded.

Product FAQ

Good to know

Match the cleco to your pilot hole. The colour tells you the size: zinc 3/32″ (2.4 mm), copper 1/8″ (3.2 mm), black 5/32″ (4.0 mm), brass 3/16″ (4.8 mm) and copper 1/4″ (6.4 mm). The specifications list the matching drill size.
Yes. Clecos are fitted and removed with cleco pliers. If you don’t own a pair yet, add SwiftLok cleco pliers to your order or choose a kit that includes them.
Yes. Clecos are made to be reused: take them out with the pliers and they're ready for the next job. If one ever stops gripping, replace that cleco rather than the set.
Grip is the total thickness of material a cleco can hold together. Diameter is the pilot-hole size. Each series lists its grip range in the specifications.
